Can you help us with finding the best wedding photography locations in Brisbane or elsewhere?
Yes – absolutely! We have a stack of perfect locations up our sleeve. Whether you are after something quirky, urban industrial, outdoorsy, or a mixture of all we have the spot for you. We have previously worked on the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast full time so we have an intimate knowledge of the landscapes there also.

How long will it be until we receive our photos?
At most it would take between 6-10 weeks for us to process all of your wedding images.
What happens if it rains on my wedding day?
Rain is actually not that bad a thing. Overcast skies make for very flattering lighting rather than harsh sun and there is only a handful of weddings that we have shot where it rained all day. If it is absolutely pouring I have plenty of wet weather locations where we can still get some great shots!!! My parents’ wedding flooded and they all ended up in their gumboots but everyone said it was the best wedding they had ever been to….. so there is always a silver lining.
P.S. We always bring umbrellas if it is looking dubious.
Any tips for where I should get ready pre wedding?
It is good to keep in mind that a clutter free, spacious, light filled room will almost always result in better images for you. Try to have a junk room where you keep all your clutter and keep a room free where you can button up your dress and add all the finishing touches.
Timing…
It is a good idea to attempt to keep 2 to 3 hours between the end of your ceremony and your arrival at the reception just so that there is enough time for chatting with guests, travel, group photos, bridal party photos, and shots of the lovely couple, and maybe a quick snack, makeup touch-up etc. I find it is always better to allow enough time so that you don’t feel rushed on the day
Any other tips?
We always recommend getting your guests to throw something as you exit your ceremony (petals, confetti, doves if you are feeling fancy). It makes for some great photos and the guests really get into it too.
PORTRAITS
What happens if it is raining on the day of a portrait shoot?
It depends on the location we have decided on but we can either transfer to a wet weather location or reschedule for some sunshine.
How long will it be until we receive our photos?
Portrait images are usually completed anywhere from 4-8 weeks depending on our workload.
When is the best time to take photos?
For lovely flattering light the best times are early morning or late afternoon.
What should we wear?
The most important thing is for you to express yourself and feel comfortable. Colours and patterns are great but try to avoid any large branding as it can be quite distracting. We usually recommend to leave the matching white T-shirts and denim at home but if that’s your thing then go for it!
